Snr Project Coordinator

Gary began his career in structural steel in July 1997 as a Shop Iron Worker at Herrick’s Stockton Steel facility. After a year, he earned his associate’s degree in auto body shop from San Joaquin Delta College. During his first two years, he worked as a helper and learned how to weld in the shop. In May 1999, he passed the welding test to become a welder. From September 2001 to May 2005, Gary attended the Shop Ironworkers Apprenticeship classes. He won first place in the 4th Annual Shop Ironworkers Outstanding Apprenticeship Competition, which covers the Pacific Northwest, Western Canada, and Northern California, on June 26, 2004. From 2005 to 2019, he worked as a Quality Control Assistant, Layout, Fitter, Checker, and Programmer. On February 11, 2020, Gary was promoted to Project Coordinator, and in January 2024, he became a Senior Project Coordinator.
