Job Description

  • Develop and maintain project baseline schedule
  • Manage subcontract buyout and performance of work
  • Process subcontractor and owner change orders
  • Estimate cost and schedule impacts due to design changes
  • Review design drawings and specifications for cost-cutting/value engineering alternates
  • Develop schedule of values and process monthly progress billings
  • Review prime contract conditions and ensure compliance with all contract terms

Job Requirements

  • Engineering, Architectural or Construction Management degree, or minimum 10 years of construction management experience
  • Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationship with Owner, General Contractor. Design team and Subcontractors
  • Thorough understanding of project controls required to effectively manage all activities including project budget development, scheduling, cost control and close out procedures.
  • Fundamental knowledge of building codes, contract law and accounting
  • Travel to project sites and meetings as necessary
